Owner/Clinician
Hello! My name is Lori, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Being a human is tough, and being a little human can be even tougher, and we all could use a little extra support sometimes! I strive to provide a relaxed, non-judgmental space so kids and teens can be themselves and achieve their individualized goals. I enjoy incorporating creative therapy strategies such as art, sand, and play into my practice and believe that not one modality is a fit for everyone. I use play, connection, and a good dose of nervous system regulation to help children work through big feelings, build emotional strength, and feel more authentic in their world.
I work with children and teens, ages 3 and up, in the areas of anxiety, depression and mood disorders, self-harm behavior, anger, life transitions, abuse, and trauma.
I am a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist® who’s passionate about helping kids and teens feel seen, safe, and supported. SPT focuses on the therapist’s authenticity and nervous system regulation to co-create a safe, attuned space where children can process their struggles and build resilience. I work alongside your child to help give them tools to regulate their nervous system so they can more easily explore, express, and manage big emotions. I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and am Nationally Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) certified.

I am Blake. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a wide range of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and emotional regulation. As an autistic therapist, I bring lived experience and genuine warmth to my work, and my practice is designed to be welcoming and accommodating for all clients.
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), to help clients build self-compassion, understand their emotional patterns, and move toward meaningful change. I take a collaborative, flexible approach adapting my style, pacing, and session structure to fit each person's unique needs.
My office is designed with comfort in mind: adjustable lighting, fidget tools, and flexible seating are available for anyone who wants them. Eye contact is always optional, and movement and stimming are welcome. Whether or not you identify as neurodivergent, my goal is to create a therapeutic space where you feel genuinely seen and at ease.
Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, trauma (including complex PTSD), life transitions, identity exploration, relationship and family dynamics, and support for neurodivergent individuals and their families.
